  • I'm not sure this is a sugar mill. There don't appear to be any railroad tracks or paved roads nearby. How would they get the sugar out?
  • Rice or sod, perhaps?
  • It might be rice or sod. Maybe fertilizer that they use there on the farm itself? That might explain the lack of egress.
  • The sugar mill is no longer active, it was shuttered after the 2004-2005 season.
