Original building constructed around 1950's, the northern half of the building used to house a restaurant The Reef until around 1978 (restaurant expanded into the southern half of the building around mid 1970's after Closed Inn closed its doors); the southern half of the building used to house a pub Closed Inn until around mid 1970's (The Reef later expanded into that building space), and Mexican restaurant Mexicali Rose from around Spring 1979 until January 26, 1996 when the building was destroyed by fire at nighttime and lasted until morning the next day. That restaurant was reopened in that same location in the new building three years later.

The current building was constructed between May 10, 1996 and around late-July 1996 by the old Mexicali Rose owner Tom Clarkson, it used to house a pizza restaurant and play area Tommy Town/Tommy Town Pizza (August 2, 1996-c. April 1999), Mexican restaurant Mexicali Rose ([old restaurant destroyed by fire on January 26-27, 1996] June 12, 1999-c. late-August 2000 [relocated to 2390 Wisconsin Dells Parkway and reopened around late-Summer 2000]), Jamaican restaurant Marley's/Marley's Jamaican Restaurant (September 22, 2000-c. mid-December 2010 [relocated to 750 Wisconsin Dells Parkway South and reopened on December 26, 2010]), nightclubs Wett Nightclub (c. July 2, 2011-c. 2013), and Club Wett (c. 2013-September 20, 2015). The current space is now a food truck-themed restaurant, opened softly on May 10, 2019 for locals and business associates and officially opened on May 11, 2019 at 11am.

If you like street food and fun, you will love Wisconsin's food haven served with a truck-yeah! A casual carefree vibe where every hour is happy hour. Cheer on your favorite team, enjoy live music, and indulge in tastes from around the Midwest. Yum Yum. Get Sum.

Only the best food trucks get to park in The Shed. We have ooey-gooey grilled cheese, burgers, and street tacos that'll make you wish you lived on our block! They are Pasqual's Cantina, Koki Pizza, The Grateful Melt, and Amigos Dells.

The stationary food trucks themselves were reclaimed from a junkyard in Camp Douglas, then gutted and refurbished. Revamped Volkswagen vans are served as soda dispensers and seating areas. And elevated above the bar is a vintage Greyhound bus, known as the Gratehound, which offers booth seating for families to see out over the shed.

You can sit at one of the colorful tables at our outdoor seating area on a sunny day and relax at one of the fire pits at night. Live outdoor entertainment is held during the summer months.

Also, don't forget to check out our tap beer and spirits bar inside too! Under the bar table features VHS tapes with visible titles wrapping around its base and flattened VHS boxes lining the top of the table. There's actually two of them – the other one but smaller, is located at the Grateful Shed merch area.
