Noah's Ark is America's Largest Waterpark®, located in the Waterpark Capital of the World!

Opened in 1979 by Jack and Turk Waterman, a local family from Wisconsin Dells, originally named Noah’s Incredible Adventure. Noah's Incredible Adventure originally had bumper boats and a go-kart track. By the time the Waterman family sold Noah’s Ark, they had added 15 more attractions to the park. In 1994, Tim and Dan Gantz, another family from Dubuque, Iowa bought Noah’s Incredible Adventure, and added what is known as "OctoExplorer." OctoExplorer is a yellow submarine with an octopus on the top, and soft slides coming out of it. This is a children's attraction. Before the Gantz family sold in 2012, they had added another 13 attractions. On March 2, 2012, Noah’s Ark was sold to Palace Entertainment where more changes were made. Palace Entertainment is a company based in Newport Beach, California, and a branch of Parques Reunidos (Reunited Parks) in Madrid, Spain. The waterpark uses over 2 million gallons of water on its rides every day! However, it takes 5 million gallons of water to fill all the pools and operate 3 miles of waterslides!

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the waterpark didn't open until June 20, 2020. However, it closed early on August 1, 2020 for the rest of the season after two employees tested positive for COVID-19. Noah's Ark was opened only for 41 days during that time.

One of the co-founders of Noah's Ark Turk Waterman (born [Andrew John "Turk" Waterman] July 14, 1939 in Wisconsin Dells) has passed away on June 29, 2017 in Sanibel, Florida at age 85 after a courageous battle with cancer and diabetes. He also founded the Great Wolf Lodge in 1997, which is credited for raising the bar of indoor waterparks and turning Wisconsin Dells into a year-round destination. Besides waterparks, he founded several businesses in the Dells area such as Moosejaw Pizza & Dells Brewing Co., Knucklehead's Family Entertainment Center, Buffalo Phil's Restaurant, Timber Falls Amusement Park, and Tanger Outlet Center (now Outlets at the Dells). The Wisconsin Dells Visitors and Convention Bureau honored him with a lifetime achievement award in 2013.

Policies
Noah's Ark is open daily Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Rides are subject to availability and certain age/height/weight restrictions. Duplicate rides may be closed on low attendance days. Prices, dates, and hours subject to change without notice. No refunds due to inclement weather. No carry-in flotation devices allowed.
Only you know your level of swimming skill or that of your child or the person you're supervising. We strongly recommend all guests under 48" (3') or who are weak or non-swimmers wear coast guard approved life jackets where appropriate. In the wave pool, all guests under 48" (3') are required to wear a life jacket and be accompanied by an adult. We insist that parents keep their children within arm's reach for their close supervision on all water activities. Life jackets are available free of charge. When in doubt, wear a life jacket!
Carry-in picnic supplies and coolers are welcome only in the pavilions outside the park and designated pavilions for carry-ins on the map. Carry in picnics and coolers are not allowed inside the park. Wisconsin state law prohibits carry-in alcohol on the premises at any time. Plastic bottled water may be brought into the park.
Noah's ark is a smoke-free environment. Please observe the designated smoking areas.
We strongly recommend that minors (under 18) be accompanied by an adult. Park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.
Children who wear diapers are required to wear a swim diaper in all pools and rides. Swim diapers are available for purchase at the gift shop.
Proper swimwear must be worn on all rides and attractions. No street clothes and no bathing attire with buckles, belts, rivets, metal or cut-off jeans permitted. For guest safety, no masks, snorkels, or swim fins, please.
Age, height, and weight restrictions apply on certain rides.
Please observe each ride before participating and read posted rules.
Private cabanas and lockers are available for rent within the park.
