Serekaniye is an informal internally displaced person (IDP) camp in Al-Hasakeh governorate. Construction began in late February 2020. Primary construction completed by December 2020. A supplemental phase began construction on December 29, 2021 and was complete by late June 2021. The camp houses 13,000 people in 2,300 households, which is roughly 5 people per household. The camp houses a roughly even distribution of women to men.
