Beargrass Creek Nature Preserve (Louisville-Jefferson County, Kentucky)

~1.5 mile hiking trail. Easy trail with 2 small hills (but both parking lots are hilltop). Park at the Lou. Nature Center off Illinois or at Joe Creason Park. *There are no other entrances or exits* unless you like bushwacking or fording Beargrass Creek.

Pretty peaceful place... get a nice hike in during your lunch break without worrying about being run over by blitzing mountain bikers as on Cherokee Park trails. Technically dogs are banned as well as a bikes, but the dog rule is not really enforced. Never seen a bike there (oh how wonderful it is to say that).

Has a short, long, and longer trail options - all from the same trailheads. You can do a half mile, 1 mile or 1.5 mile or loop for longer. Pretty straightforward to figure out. Decent for trail running but narrow in places.
