The so-called “Complexo da Maré” located in Bonsucesso neighborhood, in North Zone of Rio de Janeiro City, Brazil.
This Region is also known as "Favela da Maré" gathers several neighborhoods on Guanabara bay. Containing about 130 thousand residents (2006), has the biggest favela group of Rio de Janeiro, in consequence of the neighborhood, human development indicator describes the region.
