"The Chebogue River Aquatic Club was established in 1971. The club maintains a public boat launch located on one of the largest salt water marshes left in Canada. The launch provides access to tidal waters for emergency organizations, police and fisheries enforcement organizations as well as tourist and local area residents to enjoy the tranquility and wild life of the natural wetland."
