This bridge carries U.S. Route 19 (Beckley Road) over Interstate 77 (West Virginia Turnpike). It is a four span, steel beam bridge with concrete deck built in 1978.
The bridge was dedicated to two local cousins who had died as a result of the Vietnam War. Denzell Mills was killed in action in 1967. Larry Hatcher died in 1992 due to exposure to Agent Orange during the war.
