More properly Dayr aš-Šalwīṭ. The enclosure of a Temple of Isis from the Greco-Roman period, with the temple itself, a half-ruined propylon (front gate), and the foundation of the enclosure walls, except to the south, where it is obscured by modern settlement. The temple's hieroglyphic inscriptions date to the 1st century AD.
