Pedas in English meaning 'hot' resulted after eating chillies. Famous with its natural hot spring, now known as Pedas Wet World, Restoran Hj Maimuni famous with its mee goreng, dalca for roti canai, Karipap Aziz (square shape) back in 70's and 80's.

Now days Pedas already developed as an education town, Sekolah Agama Pedas, ILP Pedas, IKBN Chembong (still in Pedas Area).

    mee goreng laksha etc are the best food in the entire world.now we get original chinese packets in hyderabad,india,.we have chinese from malaysia running restaurants here and doing well.terima kaseh dear mat13 once again
