Suria Sabah Shopping Mall, constructed back in 2009, is one of the most popular malls in KK city. It is centrally located within downtown KK, and houses several well known brands such as Mango, Coach, Padini, Cotton On, Pandora and many more. The major retailers here would be Metrojaya and City Grocer. For those who enjoy books, there is the Times Bookstore. This mall also has a wide array of electronic shops. If one intends to dine in at this mall, the selection of restaurants and cafes are abundant too, and one of the highlights of the mall is the 3rd floor food court overlooking the waterfront. Movie lovers will be pampered too, as the Golden Screen Cinemas can be accessed on the 8th floor.

The mall is generally designed in a "L" shape, where there are two wings spread out over 5 floors - while the remaining 5 upper floors are where the car parks are located. Entry to the carpark is from the back of the mall, and at most times, exit would be in the front, right next to the main foyer of the mall. Escalators can be found in the centre and both ends of the mall, while elevators are distributed evenly throughout the mall. The information counter of the mall is located right next to the mall main entrance, opposite Coach.

The mall is more busy towards the night, as well as during the weekends and public holidays, where most shops open from 10am to 10pm. Reaching the mall is easy as it is placed right on the routes of the City Bus, and taxis are easily available at the main entrance of the mall.
