This bridge carries southbound Interstate 81 over Matson Drive and Hooks Branch. It is a three span, steel beam bridge with concrete deck built in 1963. There is no direct access between the interstate and Matson Drive, but it is just south of the Exit 45 interchange and is three lanes wide to accommodate the merge lane from Virginia Route 16.
