historical layer / disappeared object, railway junction
A one-time major interchange point between the LVRR's Camden branch and the mainline of the and New York, Ontario & Western Railway. The interchange also fed into a loop track that circled through the town of Sylvan Beach to the waterfront passenger station so that both railroads could deliver passengers direct to lakeside during the busy tourist season. LVRR closed down their Camden branch in 1938 but the NYO&W continued to run trains through this junction until their shutdown in 1957.
