Lamoille is an unincorporated community in section 7 of Richmond Township, Winona County, Minnesota. It was platted in May 1860. The village developed at the point where a stagecoach route crossed the Mississippi River. It had a post office from 1858-1975.

The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad served Lamoille from 1872 until 1985, with a line now operated by the Canadian Pacific Railway.

The La Moille Rockshelter is located in Winona County, southeast Minnesota, near Trout Creek and the Mississippi River. One of the earliest Woodland sites ever excavated in Minnesota, it has been aged at roughly 1500 BC.
