Absolutely beautiful. However, the toilets are all outhouses except for one flush toilet near the lifesaving station. You can tour the old lighthouse at various parts of the day. The ferry that crosses over from Leland comes only at 9 AM and 4 PM... if you don't catch it back, you'll be camping the night there.
You will have the best stargazing experience of your life.
Camping is only allowed in designated areas.

The perched dunes are worth the strenuous climb. The giant cedars are wonderful. Look out for rare maidenhair ferns. Be prepared for lots of flies after periods of rain.

Fantastic place to anchor for the night, but be aware the water depth increases very quickly as you leave the shore. You have to have just enough anchor rode to keep your boat in place, but not so much you can reach the shore in a wind shift.
