Part of the LVRR Sayre yard compex, the paint shop handled all manner of LVRR locomotive, passenger and freight car interior and exterior painting tasks from the late 1800s through the early 1970s. The building was not needed by Conrail when they took over LVRR and was demolished in 1977.
