Freight and passenger depot operated by the LVRR on their single track line that passed through Smithboro alongside Route 17C. The station was operational into the 1950s when LVRR ceased passenger service and later combined their operations to Erie RR trackage through the Shenandoah Valley from Sayre to Owego.
