Former U.S. Army Nike missile site NY-79/80C, Livingston, NJ. This site contained radar and computer systems to guide Nike missiles located at the nearby Launcher Area in East Hanover. The site was in use from 1954 through 1974 as part of the Cold War air defenses of the New York metro area. Many of the Army's original buildings and structures remain intact and are now used as studios by local artists.
