Formerly known as Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst, Naval Air Test Facility Lakehurst, Naval Air Station Lakehurst, and (when owned by the US Army from 1917 to 1921) Camp Kendrick. Prior to the Army purchasing the property, it was used in 1916 by the Imperial Russian Army as a munitions testing site.
