The valley of the Lake (Cwm Llan) in Snowdonia lies on the banks of the Afon Cwm Llan. It has been suggested as the site of the Battle of Camlann where Arthur and Medraut fell, according to the Welsh Annals (sub anno 539). The valley features waterfalls and old mines.
