invisible, metro station
Not to be confused with Mansion House, station on the Piccadilly Line which was built on the Cockfosters extension. It is busy but located in an unamed area of mostly houses south of the Harringay Ladder. The station takes its name from a pub. The station is on the border between the boroughs of Hackney and Haringey, but its postcode is in Hackney making it the the only station in the borough.
The station's ticket hall is underground and it originally had nine exits to the street including 2 for tramp stops, although these have since dissappeared. There are entrances on all 4 sides of the Manor House Crossroads.
