Navilatirtha Dam

Navilatirtha Dam (Navil in Kannada means peacock) is situated between Saundatti and Munavalli in Belgaum District. The reservoir created by the dam is called Renukasagara. The Dam is also called Malaprabha Dam
This dam is across Malaprabha river, located in a gorge near Savadatti, Belgaum District, Karnataka. Near the dam is an ancient shrine called Ramlingeshwar Gudi.
