 depression (geology), impact crater
A large depression across the waist of about 660 meters, reminiscent of an ancient meteorite crater. The cross-sectional profile of the depression, and the geometrically perfect circle of the depression in the plane, make it possible to interpret this geological object as a hypothetical meteorite crater. The southern sector of the crater depression is blurred by the riverbed. The crystal shield has signs of dislocation fracture, which may be due to the impact of an explosive compression wave when a large body collides with the surface, according to a photograph of a granite quarry opposite the depression on the right bank of the Irpin River valley.
