The Perai Bulk Cargo Terminal (PBCT) is a cargo terminal of the Port of Penang, dedicated to handling dry-bulk cargo. Equipped with almost 110,000 sq m of warehouse space and five berths, the PBCT is capable of handling 3.9 million tonnes of cargo per year.
The PBCT is strategically located next to the Perai Free Industrial Zone (Perai FIZ) and as such, the factories within the Perai FIZ are among the largest contributors to the PBCT's dry-bulk cargo, including Ann Joo Steel, Malayan Sugar, CIMA, Cargill, Southern Steel and Petronas.
