The new Whistler Public Library is located on the same lot as the old trailers. It is hoped that it will be open in January 2008. The Library is open to everyone, and non-members can use in-house facilities, such as internet access, for free. You must be a member to borrow books, movies, magazines, music CDs, and other items in the collection. Membership is free to residents and property owners in British Columbia. You must bring proof of residency to get a free card - an up-to-date BC driver's license is sufficient. Seasonal workers and other non-permanent residents can bring in other photo ID and a piece of mail that has been delivered to their address in the Whistler area.
