The ruined site of the Byzantine fortifications of ancient Tipasa in Numidia is located just west of modern Kef Ouled Si Mousa in Algeria. The ancient city's name is preserved by modern Tiffesh farther to the east. The circuit of the walls is relatively well preserves, although most of the towers and interior structures are largely effaced.
