The property is one of the top-10 highest taxed in Nassau County, NY—more so than even "The Terraces" Estate next door ($440,000 in 2020), which was on the market for $100,000,000 in 2015.

Peter Arthur Aron made his fortune as a commodities trader at his father's import and commodity trading firm, J. Aron & Company (now a part of Goldman Sachs). He has been involved extensively in maritime history and preservation projects and is chairman of the Kings Point planning board.
