This is Lait Village, its exactly 7 English miles from Gharo Town in British time a Army lieutenant was living here, thus locals called him "Lait" that's why this small village is been called "Lait".In my teen age, during 1971 to 1973, I lived here. There was no electricity on that time, although a high voltage line of 11,000 voltage was available in high poles. The shop of Haji Shoro was the only shop available. Lait was the only gathering place for all adjoining area from Kukrand to Chachh Mira Khor, from where locals come to gather here. There were two Chapra hotels, one called Laloo ka hotel and other was Persand's hotel. Malkani Balouch was ther ruler race here. Abdullah Khan Malkani was the headman. While Mir Ali Balouch, Murad Ali etc were my best friends. From here I learnt a lot about Hunting tactics, while shot dozens of partridges, and ducks.

    Thank u dear all about details about LAIT, once i been there, now searching on net got it, i was looking for small lake near by it, only can be located by LAIT location, regards azmat

    Brother Azmat in 1972 to onward there were actually 3 familiar lakes were in the vicinity of Lait, one nearly 3 km from lait called, "Ziarat" lake because there were so many Old timed beautiful yellow stoned graves were there, means Ziarat, it was near Mir Ali's malkani or Abdullah khan Malkani's goth, Second lake was on eastern side, called "Talli" lake a big lake, and the thid and biggest lake was Chach Mira Khor, the big saline canal actually ends in that big lake on one side while other side debouched in the sea.
