  Kunnicode is a small village in Kollam District. It is situated 10 km west of Punalur, a prominent industrial town. Pachilakunnu, a small hillock where a Muslim saint is said to have breathed his last, is the main attraction of the place. Punalur is about 45 km north-east of Kollam. Nearest airport is at Thiruvananthapuram. Punalur Railway Station is located on the Kollam-Shencotta railway line.
