NRHP - National Register of Historic Places, interesting place, bridge, covered bridge, U.S. National Historic Landmark
Originally constructed in 1862 and then rebuilt in 1864 because the previous bridge was washed away in a flood. Fastened together with locust pins. A toll bridge until purchased by Stanislaus County in 1885. At 330 ft it's purported to be the longest covered bridge west of the Mississippi River.
