ruins, mosque, archaeological site
The original site of the Er-Rızk Mosque, which was built in 1409 by the Ayyubid ruler of Hasankeyf Süleyman on the banks of the Tigris. The ruins, including a well-preserved minaret, were relocated to a new site to the northeast to escape being flooded by the rising waters of the Ilısu Dam Reservoir.
