ruins, archaeological site
The original site of the 15th-century complex of buildings centered on the mausoleum of Zeynel Bey (d. 1473), a son of the Qara Qoyunlu ruler Uzun Hasan. To escape being submerged by the rising waters of the Ilısu Dam Reservoir, the ruined structures have been relocated to a new site to the northeast.
