Pontchartrain Vineyards was founded in 1991 by John Seago and Lincoln Case, with the goal of creating quality wines that appeal to the culture, cuisine and sensibilities of Southeast Louisiana. Pontchartrain Vineyards was the only winery in the state producing table wines exclusively from traditional bunch/wine grapes, and was well-known far and wide for its weekly "Jazz'n the Vines" concerts. Shortly after John passed away in 2021, the vineyard was sold to Monica Bourgeois and Neil Gernon, who renamed it to Wild Bush Farm + Vineyard. Lincoln Case has stayed on as winemaker.
