Seven storey former department store constructed in 1928 for Vancouver based Spencer's. In 1948 T Eaton & Co. acquired Spencer's and continued to operate the store until until 1973 when it moved to its new store at the Pacific Centre. Sears became part of the Harbour Centre in 1976 at the time of its opening and remained until 1987. Shortly thereafter the Spencer building became part of the Vancouver Campus of Simon Fraser University.
