The Vancouver Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre, better known as just the Convention Centre, or the VCC (Not to be mixed up with the Vancouver Community College), is in two buildings, the West building, completed in 2009, and built specifically for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, and and the East Building, better known as Canada Place, which also serves as one of Vancouver's two Cruise Ship Terminals and an upscale hotel. The West Building was built in 1986 for Expo 86 in Vancouver. It served as Canada's Pavillion.
