One of last continuously maintained medicinal herbal gardens for research - though in the modern day this is almost purely for looks. In fact in the 80s this garden all but disappeared into total obscurity. Though it has been maintained, and even expanded in the ensuing decades. It no longer represents the importance to science that it once held when this university was young. In fact the late 1890s and early 1900s this garden spread over much of the present lower half of the campus, nearing 100 acres in its heyday. The harvest of which eas extracted for Chimistry and Medical research. Mind you not very long ago synthetic chemicals were very much still not available.
