4-story (plus raised basement) Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1891. Designed by James Stroud, it is faced in light-grey-painted brownstone. The stoop has been replaced by a ground-level entrance on the left, down a couple steps from the sidewalk, with a wood-and-glass door. The basement level is banded and has two single-windows to the right, with simple surrounds and iron grilles.

The upper floors have three bays of single-windows. Those on the former parlor floor have the same simple surrounds, except at the west bay, where it has apparently been removed from the window that replaces the original parlor-floor entrance. On the floors above the surrounds have bracketed sills and cornices, and on the top floor (set off by a sill course) the windows are framed by projecting pilasters with Ionic capitals. The facade is crowned by a darker grey metal roof cornice with brackets, dentils, and garlands.
