Isinours is a village in Carrolton township, section 20, established about 1870. The post office was called Preston Station, 1871-72, and closed in 1904.

The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad served Isinours from 1870 until 1976. The tracks were removed to create part of the Root River Recreational Trail.
