Calmar is a city in Winneshiek County, Iowa, United States. The population was 1,125 at the 2020 census. The city is named after Kalmar, a city in Sweden.

The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad served Calmar from 1868 until 1980, with a line now operated by the Iowa, Chicago and Eastern.
