Walkaway Wind Farm, sometimes called Alinta Wind Farm (after its first owner), is located in Western Australia, about 25-37 km southeast of Geraldton, 35-43 km north of Port Denison, 18 km from the Indian Ocean shore and 10 km east of the town of Walkaway. Commissioned in 2006, it consists of 54 NEG Micon NM82/1650 wind turbines with a combined nominal capacity of 89.1 MW.
