Hope island, private estate of John Cacoulidis. Cacoulidis claims to have made his fortune as a developer but can't name any actual projects he was involved with. The estate includes artificial lakes, a stable with 14 stalls, a chapel, tea room, helicopter pad and mansion, and is considered a tacky eyesore by local residents. Cacoulidis also attempted to have Hope Island secede from the town of Cumberland, ME to cut his property tax bill.
