A mansion built for Lora Josephine Knight. Her father and former husband were captains of industry, controlling National Biscuit, Continental Can, Diamond Match and Union Pacific Railroad. Features classic Scandinavian architecture by Lennart Palme c. 1928. In 1945 the State acquired the property and it became part of Emerald Bay State Park. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places as # 96001078.
