  Taman Pantai Lokkawi was also known as Taman Sabindo previously. It is a typical terrace houses but with good surroundings. This placed used to be considered as a dangerous place to live (back in 90's) because of the existence of the immigrants (from south philiphines) that always involved in crimes. However, since the action taken by previously chief minister of sabah (chong kah kiat), they managed to get rid of them. NOW, it's consider a nice place for a family.. Lots of memories here.. And my parents are still there.. Noticed that there's some kind of barrier island at the beach/sea shore. its actually a reclaimation area to build a hotel.. but during 98 economy crisis, it failed to start. and until then, there/s no effort to re-develop the area..
