Rahu Abad is a lacal town which is located in district Umerkot of Province Sindh in pakistan. It is 5 kilometer away from Taluka Headquarter Samaro City. It is center of agricultural products wheat, cotton, sugarcane, chilli etc
Rahu Abad is founded by well-known merchant (late) Haji Ali Muhammad Rahu in 1976. He firstly built an Ata chaki (Flour vartical) and one market. slowly, slowly , with the passage of time it creased. Many shops and cabins were made in 1982. With the passage of time,it became center of many agricultural products, people from far and wide came here to sold there wheat, cotton and chilli etc.
''Mr. Haji Ali Muhammad Rahu work day and night to promote it and he became successful in his mission. He noticed water shortage in Rahu Abad, with his own money he built tow pounds near it's locality. He divided his own land to the people of different communities for their settlement in the locality of Rahu Abad. Today, several communities are living in Rahu Abad and it's surroundings.''
