155-foot, 15-story residential building completed in 1923. Designed by Schwartz & Gross, it is clad in beige brick above a 3-story, lighter-beige brick base with a grey-painted stone water table. The central entrance has multi-pane glass-and-wood double-doors below a rounded, burgundy canvas canopy extending out over the sidewalk. The doorway is framed by layered, fluted stone pilasters with a fluted entablature that is surmounted by a stone balcony at the center bay of the 2nd floor, with a balustrade in front. To the right the ground floor has a set of paired windows, a window paired with a black metal service door, a single-window, another paired-window bay, and a lower-set black metal service door at the west end. To the left there is also a paired-window bay, followed by a window paired with a service door, a single-window, and then an end bay with paired windows.
The 2nd & 3rd floors each have six single-windows in the middle (grouped loosely into two sets of three), flanked by double-windows with black iron mullion, smaller single-windows, and end bays with double-windows. The center two windows at the 2nd floor, fronted by the balcony, have stone surrounds with a panel in between, topped by a triangular pediment. The 4th floor is set off by a stone band course with a leafy molding along its underside.
Above the base, the upper floors have two bays of triple-windows in the middle, with the outer bays the same as below. The facade is dotted with protruding air-conditioning units. A dentiled string course sets off the 12th floor, and pairs of console brackets support projecting stone balconies with stone front walls at each bay of the 13th floor, except for the small single-windows. The 13th-14th floors have layered brick pilasters framing the main bays, with each topped by a brick arch at the 14th floor, with stone shields in the centers. The main roof line at the 14th floor is marked by a thin stone cornice, with the center section raised above the ends. A 15th-story penthouse level is set back and not visible from the street.
The south-facing rear facade has, from west to east, a double-window end bay, a single-window bay, another double-window bay, a tripartite window bays, a double-window bay, and an end bay with a single-window paired with a smaller window. The penthouse is also set back from this facade. The building contains 46 apartment units.
