 temple, archaeological site

The archeological site of Jeta's Grove, Anathapindika's Park at Sāvatthī (Srāvastī). The original land size of Jetavana was much more bigger than the size of this gated archeological site, which is now a tourist attraction. Jetavana was the place where Buddha gave many teachings and discourses, more than in any other place. Thus more people enlightened at this place than any other place else on earth. Mainly, this is because Buddha spent 19 (out of 45) rainy-seasons at Jetavana. Thus Jetavana had more footprints left by Buddha and Arhats than any other place else on earth. . Anāthapindika had gold brought down in carts and covered Jetavana with pieces laid side by side. Thus no place else on earth had ever has more gold covered than here.
