Sun or Moon Dial

Built between late 2009 and January 2013, this sun dial (or possibly moon dial) has some interesting features. The gnomon for the 12 o'clock position extends beyond the border of the circle, and traverses a boulder placed there, which appears to have a depression on its flat top.

13 brightly-colored benches surround the perimeter of the sundial, with another concentric ring of stone outside of the benches. At the 6 o'clock position, a smaller boulder is placed which the sun ray / hour indicator arrow / gnomon also traverses. It is located in the geographic center of the island.
