120-foot, 10-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1904. Designed by John H. Duncan, it is clad in beige brick and stone. The ground floor has rounded limestone piers separating metal-and-glass storefronts lining Broadway, divided into seven bays; the northernmost bay is narrower and occupies a 1-story extension at the end of the building. A dentiled stone cornice caps the ground floor. On the south facade on 80th Street there is another storefront bay at the west end, a wider bay with black metal infill in the middle, and the residential entrance at the east end, with metal-framed glass double-doors and a transom in a rounded, patterned molding. The entry is flanked by a pair of flat pilasters, in front of which are two stylized Ionic columns supporting a portico, with the dentiled cornice extending around it.
The 2nd floor is banded stone, and the upper floors are brick with stone quoins at the edges. The south facade has two bays of single-windows in the middle, with one more at each end, and a small bathroom window inserted between the western two at each floor. A stone cornice caps the 2nd floor, where the windows have stone surrounds and the end bays also feature small cartouches atop the windows. A projecting stone balcony fronts the middle bays at the 5th floor, carried on three console brackets, and with the underside decorated by four rosettes. Another stone cornice tops the 8th floor, above which the quoins stop, replaced at the edges of the top floor by a pair of large cartouches. The stone spandrels in each bay between the top two floors have carved shields and ribbons.
On the west facade facing Broadway the south end bays has single-windows, and the north has wider and narrower single-windows paired together, both end bays have stone banding. There are four more single-windows in the middle, with small bathroom windows inserted directly north of the northern-middle bay, and another set inserted south of the southern-middle bay, but spaced farther away. The middle two bays in the center are spaced closer together than the other two. There are projecting stone balconies at the end bays and across all four middle bays at the 5th floor, also carried on console brackets and decorated with rosettes on the undersides. The upper floors are like those on the south facade, but with pairs of cartouches flanking the end bays at the top floor. A pair of black metal fire escapes runs down the facade - one at the north end bay, and the other over the southern-middle bay. Both main facades are crowned by a projecting brown metal roof cornice with modillions and dentils on the lower part, and a row of lions' heads and small crests on the upper part.
The north facade, above the short 1-story extension, is also clad in brick, and has two bays of double-windows at the west side, and two bays of single-windows at the east. The decorative elements of the roof cornice only continue across this facade for the first bay; a simplified roof cornice extends across the rest.
The building contains 41 apartment units. The ground floor is occupied by Nuts Factory, Ten Dollar Tees, Runaway Poppy boutique, Best Bottles wine store, and Westsider Rare & Used Books.
