Constitution Green Park - City-owned.
Park now includes a dog park and a century-old live oak tree.
The property was purchased by the city in 2016 when the original owners planned to develop the lot.
Previously the city leased the property as a park for $1 a year from the private owners since the 1980s when they planned to sell the lot to Winn-Dixie Grocery Store. The Caruso family who owned the property agreed to sell the lot for $3.34 million along with the hand-over of a city-owned half-acre parcel in SoDo district valued at $2.5 million which the city acquired the lot during the failure of William duPont III - American Pioneer Savings & Loans Bank. The Caruso family was a local citrus family turned developer of their former groves & packing houses. Caruso Family was also one of the original minority partners of the NBA Orlando Magic Ltd.
