Liberation tower or communication building, one of the landmarks of Kuwait. Originally it was to be named "Independence Tower", but it was renamed after Kuwait's liberation form Iraq in 1991 to "Liberation Tower". Some people mix up between this tower and Kuwait Towers which lies on Kuwait beach northeast of here.

Next to this tower lies an administrative building of Ministry of Communication, a complex named "Government Complex" that provide governmental services, also includes branches of telecom and internet companies.

    The structure stands at 372 meters high (1,220 ft) at its pinnacle. The roof of the second pod on the tower is 308 meters high (1,010 ft).
